What this server keeps
No cookies are set. No analytics script runs. The page makes no requests to other domains — the fonts, the film and the stills are all served from this machine.
Request log
Each page and media request writes one row to a local database: the time, the address you connected from, the page requested, the referring page if your browser sent one, your browser's user-agent and accepted languages, the response status and how long it took.
The address is looked up against an offline copy of the DB-IP Lite databases, which adds country, region, city, approximate coordinates, the network operator and the time zone. That lookup happens on this server; your address is never sent to a third party.
How long
90 days. A job deletes older rows every few hours, and the database is vacuumed back to its working size. There is no archive, no export and no backup of this table.
Why
To notice automated scanning, to see whether the film buffers badly for anyone in particular, and out of ordinary curiosity about who reads the page. It is not sold, published or shared.
Correction
If a row needs to be removed, it can be deleted by hand — the whole table lives in one file on this machine and is never copied anywhere else.
